Head-on collison at Mseleni Hospital

Two staff members from the hospital were involved in an accident on the premises.

TWO members of staff at Mseleni Hospital were involved in a head-on collision on hospital premises yesterday morning.

One driver lost control after reportedly pressing the accelerator instead of the brake. As a result, her vehicle increased in speed, which led to the head-on collision.

One of the drivers suffered only minor bruises and was treated at the casualty department.

‘We are happy there were no fatalities,’ said Mseleni Hospital Public Relations Officer, Thabani Ntuli.

‘Patients were not affected by the accident but as the hospital, we will conduct internal measures to prevent such occurrences in future,’ concluded Ntuli.
