MANY new doors were opened and valuable insights gained as some 650 attendees made the most of an SMME seminar hosted by the Zululand Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZCCI) at ZCBF Park on Thursday.
‘We identified a void between SMMEs and stakeholders in terms of providing funding, services, knowledge and information, and the ZCCI decided to provide this interaction through this seminar,’ said ZCCI Acting Office Manager, Monique Grobler.
‘Various stakeholders took part by means of exhibitions and breakaway sessions where the attendees gleaned valuable input on services and products to grow and benefit their businesses.
‘The ZCCI is passionate about assisting SMMEs to reach their potential and for entrepreneurs to hone their ideas and register as new businesses.
‘We facilitate this by bringing all parties together through our newly-launched Business Development Centre.
‘We thank the many sponsors as well as our hard-working staff for making this an enormously successful seminar,’ said Grobler.
