Pupil loses arm during clean-up project

A Zamana Primary School pupil was injured when a gas cylinder exploded.

A NINE-YEAR-OLD Zamana Primary School pupil lost his arm when a gas cylinder exploded.

The school, near Nongoma, was having a litter clearing campaign at the time of the incident.

A member of the Governing Body said that a group of boys were burning paper when the gas cylinder exploded.

The pupil was rushed to the local hospital for treatment.

  1. This is a very sad & paiful experice to the boy’s family as well as his fellow school mates. I know (from experince) how traumatising it is when a child accidentaly loses his/her limb. May God give the family strength through this difficult time.
