TWO trucks were involved in a head-on smash at the Alton robots on the John Ross Parkway this afternoon.
The sole occupants of both vehicles were not seriously injured but highway traffic was diverted off the eastbound carriageway through Alton due to diesel spillage and a cargo of sand scattered across the road.
