Chamber to announce top entrepreneurs
This programme will assist in developing these entrepreneurs to become more profitable and contribute to local economic development, growth and job creation.
THE Zululand Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZCCI) will this week announce its entrepreneur competition winners following an exhibition showcasing Zululand’s top talent.
Twenty finalists will display their products and services at the business expo held from 3pm on Thursday at the Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre before a prize-giving ceremony honouring the top three entrepreneurs.
These finalists completed a comprehensive training programme to take their businesses to the next level.
‘Each of the participants gained from the programme and the Chamber would like to congratulate the participants for their commitment in completing the programme while running their businesses,’ said ZCCI President Judith Nzimande.
‘This programme will assist in developing these entrepreneurs to become more profitable and contribute to local economic development, growth and job creation.’
She encouraged other emerging businesses to enter the entrepreneurship programme for 2016.
‘We thank all the sponsors of this initiative, namely the KwaZulu-Natal Business Chambers Council, the KZN Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, the Bayede Foundation, the Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre and the mentors from various businesses.’
