THE 20th annual McCarthy Toyota Touch Rugby tournament is heating up and producing fast action-packed games every Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Mick Kelly Park in Empangeni.

Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT) have backed the Baby Blacks this year by getting behind the side in terms of sponsorship.

‘We would like to thank RBCT for their generous sponsorship this year and for getting behind our boys,’ said player, Mauritz Grobler.

‘It is great to see how popular this tournament is amongst all the locals and all the hard work that Dagwood van Vuuren puts in behind the scenes. We have a bunch of new players in our side this year, but what’s great to see is that all the sides in the league are skillfull and competitive, which makes this league so challenging,’ said player, Karli Schulze.

Spectators are invited to come out and support the league every Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Empangeni Rugby Football Club.
