ALL the telephone subscribers affected by the week-long Telkom cable break were back to normal by Thursday morning.
It was confirmed the lines have been restored and technicians were attending to faults on about 2% of the lines.
This was a big job, they had to drill under the road and have also added extra lines for future capacity.
The break was caused last Thursday, when the cable was accidentally cut while new lines were being installed.
