A spectacular festive tournament

SOCCER and netball teams battled it out for the top prize at Membuka sports ground in Ntambanana on Christmas Day.

It was all about ‘shibobo’s’, dribbles and back-kicks when they participated in a fun tournament, aimed at uniting the area’s youth.

The special event was to ensure youth participate in sports activities during the festive season, and stay away from drugs and alcohol.

It was organised by master of spin Thabani ‘Dj Ankel’ Mjadu, as part of giving back to his community.
