The dome is offering a special until Wednesday, whereby your ticket will include a free butterfly host plant.
Tickets cost R35 for adults, R25 for pensioners and R15 for children.
In 2011 the African Conservation Trust (ACT) established the butterfly dome with funding from the National Lottery Distribution Trust Fund.
It is an eco-tourist attraction displaying indigenous live butterflies of the uMlalazi area.
