Robbery

Albert Ntando Mathenjwa – robbery with aggravating circumstances, remanded to 20 January. He was arrested on 6 November.

Sabelo Dlamini (31) – robbery with aggravating circumstances. He was arrested on 13 March, and his case will resume on 7 March 2016.

Thomas Xolani Saragee – robbery with aggravating circumstances, remanded to 20 January. His bail application was denied, and he will be in custody until his next court appearance.

Ntuthuko Sbusiso Mkhwanazi – robbery with aggravating circumstances, case will be heard on 19 January. He was arrested by eSikhaleni police on 28 September. His bail was denied.

Lungisani Kingdom Mathe (24) was arrested on 2 July and charged with housebreaking and theft. He remains in custody until 28 January.

Phiwe Gumede (29) was arrested for being in possession of a illegal firearm on 7 December, and her case will be hear on 1 January.

Rape

Bonginkosi Welcome Dlamini (34) charged with rape appeared at the District Court. He was arrested by eSikhawini police on 2 November, and his case was remanded to 15 December. He remains in custody with no bail until his next court appearance.

Dumsani Mkhwanazi (34) appeared in court for rape charge and his case was remanded to 14 December. He was arrested on 19 October by eSikhawini police.

Sentences

Dumisani Zungu was sentenced to 20 years in prison for rape.

Nonkululeko Bilia was sentenced to R300 fine for shoplifting.

Sphiwe Khumalo (38) faced an assault charge and was sentenced to one year in prison.

Philani Ngidi (24) faced a attempted murder charge and was sentenced to 8 years.

Bongumisa Dlamini charged with attempted murder was sentenced to 4 years in prison.

Sphiwe Mthembu (19) was sentenced to two years behind bars for housebreaking.
