AN armed gang posing as customers robbed the Spar in St Lucia last night.
The five suspects entered the supermarket at about 7pm.
Once the doors were closed, one of the suspects ordered the manager to lie on the ground and directed the suspects to the money, while another suspect ensured the security guards would not intervene.
According to Mtuba SAPS, no shots were fired and no one was injured during the ordeal. All the safes were emptied.
The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of money
The matter is under police investigation but no arrests have been made.
