LOCAL cupcake connoisseurs flocked to the Protea Hotel Empangeni to compete in the Femnet Cupcake Guru competition.
On the hunt to find the best cupcakes in town, the themed sweet treats were judged before going on sale.
The themes included ‘summer loving’ and ‘Santa’s coming’.
The winner of the ‘Santa’s coming’ theme was Elsabe Gillmer and the ‘summer loving’ theme winner was Candise Povall.
The day was a great success thanks to the local sponsors, entrants and spectators.
