Beauties shine for charity

Local models go the extra mile for Zululand charities.

TWO Pizzazz Modelling Agency models got to work for the benefit of local charities.

As finalists of the Face of Pizzazz competition, each model was tasked with finding a company, brand or person for individual sponsorship, as well as selecting a charity of choice to support.

Finalist Kirsty Motzouris approached Herman Vos, Manager of Konica Minolta Richards Bay and through a wonderful initiative he offered Kirsty a bizhub C280 colour photocopier and printer.

As Izulu Orphanage Project was her charity of choice, and in conjunction with Konica Minolta, they set off to the Ngqamuzane Support Centre where they handed over the printer.

The printer is vital for making copies of the orphans’ end of school reports and documentation for their homework room and after school.

Hospice

Finalist Laura Wafer approached Zululand Hospice and selected them as her charity of choice.

With the help of Laura’s school, St Catherine’s, she set up a campaign via social media whereby a number of goods have been collected and recently donated.

‘Although I am handing over these goods today, I don’t want my campaign to end here,’ said Laura.

‘Hospice is an amazing organisation and we thank them for the good work they are doing in our community.’
