Plenty of colourful attractions as World Rhino Day, Heritage Day and Tourism Month are celebrated at the Boardwalk Inkwazi shopping mall

THE four-day ‘Ubhejane Tourism Indaba’ at the Inkwazi Boardwalk shopping centre attracted a big audience of ardent wildlife supporters.
Combining a focus on preserving the rhino and other wildlife with Heritage Day activities, the event was a colourful one with plenty to see and do – especially for the children.
Highlight for most was the presence of Zululand’s own worldwide explorer Kingsley Holgate, who with the Project Rhino KZN team and others brought sharp focus to the plight of rhinos.
On the positive side, the efforts being made to counteract poaching were also highlighted and appreciated by the public.

Hi i’m Fanele from Mtubatuba, who loves wildlife and wish to 2be volunteering in any way to stop poaching to all surround game reserves as this badly impact our tourism and our little town as a stop over.I studied tourism and hospitality management,so i’ld like 2participate while i’ll be getting some experience on this field, thanks!
