Power out in Empangeni
Residents in parts of Empangeni experienced power outages since 1am this morning.
PARTS of Empangeni have been left in the dark since just after midnight after a transformer in North Road blew.
Some residents experienced intermittent power outages this morning in Kildare, Fairview and Panorama.
According to Ward 23 councillor Andre de Lange Eskom technicians informed him at 6am that the problem would be resolved in an hour.
However, it appears the problem persists.
