Undertakers 5th birthday bash in aid of SPCA

A big jol for a good cause - don't miss the Undertakers 5th birthday bash.

EMPANGENI motorcycle club The Undertakers will be celebrating their fifth birthday in style this year, with a day jol at Nature’s Way Backpackers in Mtunzini.

The party will be held on 28 November starting at 10am, where they will again raise money for the Empangeni SPCA.

R100 will get you a metal badge while cloth badges will be on sale for R30, the profits of which will go straight to the SPCA.

There will also be a R1 000 lucky draw grand prize.

‘We are turning five this year and it’s important for us to celebrate, while at the same time doing something for a good cause,’ said Undertakers MCC Chairman, Chris Blignaut.

‘We will also be honouring two of our founding members who passed on recently, Chris Blignaut Snr and Ray Chesnell.’

Accommodation for an overnight stay will also be available, but pre-booking is essential.

Furthermore, the club has set up a bank account for donations that will be handed to the SPCA.

The account details can be obtained from the Zululand Observer by sending an email to journo3@zob.co.za.

For more information, contact Chris Blignaut on 082 5225571 or vice-chairman Richard Winchester on 071 8720679.

‘It’s going to be a real jol,’ said Blignaut. ‘Make sure you don’t miss it!’
