UPDATE: No arrests in Zuma’s Protection Unit member’s murder case

Sgt NJ Magwaza was a member of President Zuma's Presidential Protection Unit, not his bodyguard.

THERE have been no arrests in the murder of the Presidential Protection Unit member, Sgt NJ Magwaza.

Sgt Magwaza was off-duty when he was shot at his home in the eNtumeni area outside eShowe early in the morning of Sunday, 25 October.

According to Lt Robert Neyshunda of the Hawks the investigations are continuing.

Lt Neyshunda emphasised that the victim was not a bodyguard of President Zuma, but was part of the Presidential Protection Unit stationed at the residence of the President.
