Cop cars go under the hammer

Join the queue as 75 cop cars go up for auction.

NO fewer than 75 police vehicles retired from service will fall under the auctioneer’s hammer at the Richards Bay Police Station on 17 November.

Comprising cars, vans, bakkies and mini buses, the vehicles will be available for inspection the day before the auction.

All have reached the end of their useful life span and are not accident wrecks.

Police identification signage and radios will have been removed by the day of the auction.

The vehicles have been officially scrapped with the traffic authorities and successful bidders will be given registration papers.

Bank guaranteed cheques will be the preferred method of payment.
