UPDATE: Zebras to be relocated from Mtunzini
Nature's Way Backpackers have called for help to save Mtunzini's zebras.
The battle to save Mtunzini’s zebras has resurfaced.
It is believed three wildlife trucks from Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife approached Nature’s Way about 30 minutes ago to remove it’s family of zebras.
Representatives from Nature’s Way Backpackers have subsequently requested Ezemvelo to procure a court order before entering the property.
The trucks remain on standby and Ezemvelo’s Conservation Manager, Trueman Buthelezi, has confirmed he is in the process of obtaining the necessary documentation to have the zebras removed.
