FELIXTON College bade farewell to the Matric Class of 2015 in a moving and special ceremony last week.
Ali Taqvi was selected to speak on behalf of his fellow matrics and delivered an outstanding address, thanking his peers, parents and staff.
‘I must tell you that until recently I didn’t realise the importance of my education and how instrumental teachers are in helping me achieve it,’ said Ali.
‘I used to see teachers as hindrances to my daily life issuing homework and tests as if I didn’t have other, more important things to do.
‘I am older now and more mature. I now know that they are one of the greatest allies in this life,’ said Taqvi.
