ZULULAND maskandi musician David ‘Qadasi’ Jenkins is back on South African soil after two international performances.
With band member and friend, Maqhinga Radebe, the duo made their first stop in Bangkok, Thailand for the ‘Take a Walk on the Wild Side – South African Ball’ show in September.
After returning home briefly, another opportunity to take their traditional music to an international
audience arose and they found themselves jetting off to the UK earlier this month.
Touching down in London for the first time, David and Maqhinga made their way to the annual Bear
Grylls Survival Race Festival at Trent park, North London.
‘The past month has been a complete whirlwind having made our debut in both Thailand and the UK,’
said David.
‘We received wonderful feedback from both countries and look forward to the possibility of returning.’
