New look for Hospice House
Zululand Hospice House receives miracle makeover thanks to local sponsors.
FACED with a mass of responsibilities in the community, the Zululand Hospice has had little time and limited funds to put towards the much needed repairs of the Hospice House in Empangeni.
The staff can now breathe a sigh of relief following a number of major renovations conducted by local companies.
Falling victim to water damage and dilapidated structures, the house was in need of much more than just a fresh coat of paint.
After Cllr Louis Fourie reached out to Master Builders Zululand, the team selected Zululand Hospice as their CSI Project for 2015.

With no time to spare, Master Builders Zululand, along with Top Paints, Hlanganisani Construction, Melwood Kitchens, Wilcote and Zululand Gutters teamed up to tackle the month long project.
‘We as an NGO, who depend solely on donations, are so pleased with this generous donation,’ said Zululand Hospice General Manager, Dr Sbo Magagula.
‘There are no words to describe how happy we are.’
The repairs included upgrades in the kitchen, ceiling boards, gutter systems, interior painting and more.
‘We highly appreciate this donation,’ said Cllr Louis Fourie.
The month long project totaled at a staggering R100 000.
