Dannhauser on a Shark mission

Rhinos captain Jors Dannhauser impresses on amateur provincial scene.

RHINOS captain Jors Dannhauser kicked 18 of the Sharks XV’s 27 points in their match against the Blue Bulls in Pretoria on Saturday, but it was not enough to secure victory.

The Bulls romped home 60-27.

The 26-year-old flyhalf was drafted into the provincial side after his dominant display for the Zululand Rhinos this season.

Contact rugby has finally come to an end for Dannhauser, but his training has just begun to achieve his goals for next year.

He was asked to join the Sharks Sevens side for the rest of the season, but declined owing to other commitments and being physically exhausted after a long, hard season.

‘I’m planning on continuing my training throughout the festive season, working hard in the gym, sweating it out on the field and hopefully improve my kicking game,’ said Dannhauser.

He aims to make the Sharks XV side again next year after impressing the coaches and selectors, but knows the commitment and hard work he needs to put in.
