VIDEOS: Sweet sing-a-long gets Golden Oldies on the move

THE Empangeni Civic Centre was packed to the gunwales on Wednesday morning when the Golden Oldies Club presented their variety concert ‘A Walk Down Memory Lane’.

‘We are delighted at the response, and have had to put out extra seating!

‘Thankfully, there was plenty of cake to go around,’ said Elaine van de Venter in response to the arrival of the large audience.

The show was clearly a great success, not only due to the attendance figures, but also to the enthusiasm and dedication by the members, who sang, danced and performed their way through the wonderful two-hour long programme.
