TWO suspects have been arrested in connection with the brutal murder of Sabelo Myeni (34) in Nongoma last month.
According to KZN Spokesperson Major Thulani Zwane, the murder, which occurred in Vungama area, was reported to the police on 2 September.
Police officers attended the scene and found the body with three open wounds on the right thigh, another three on the forehead and one open wound on the head.
On investigation, it was established that Myeni was stoned and stabbed to death.
A case of murder was opened at Nongoma Police Station. Detectives took over the case and arrested the two suspects last Friday.
