5 injured in N2 smash near Mkhuze

THREE vehicles have collided on the N2 in the Msunduzi area near Mkhuze.

Spokesperson for KZN EMS Robert McKenzie confirmed at least five people have been injured.

Eyewitnesses came upon the accident minutes after it occurred, before authorities had arrived.

It is believed the road will be affected for some time as authorities work to clear the scene.

Bystanders were reportedly attempting to extricate passengers from one of the vehicles.
