Senior citizens ready to rock
All senior citizen clubs and the public across the district are invited to attend.
GET your dancing shoes on and your best voice warmed up as the Empangeni ‘Golden Oldies’ prepare to take to the stage on Wednesday 7 October.
Having spent months practicing for their much anticipated variety concert, the show will start at 10am at the Empangeni Town Hall.
Promising an exciting and nostalgic trip down memory lane, tickets are on sale at a cost of R30 per person and will include tea and cake.
All senior citizen clubs and the public across the district are invited to attend.
Singing along to the likes of John McCormack and his popular 1940s hit ‘It’s A Long Way To Tipperary’, the crowd will also be entertained by local musicians Nel Marie, Johan Trytsman and much loved Opera duo Elliot and Attila Biyela.
