Bok team announcement delayed
The Springbok team to take on Scotland will be announced later today.
THE South African Rugby Union (SARU) has confirmed that today’s team announcement for Saturday’s crucial Rugby World Cup clash against Scotland has been delayed by a few hours.
The announcement will take place at 6pm.
Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer will also be naming a new captain for the tournament after Jean de Villiers returned home with a broken jaw following Saturday’s 46-6 win over Samoa.
Saturday’s match at St. James’ Park in Newcastle kicks off at 5:45pm.
With injuries plaguing the Bok camp this week, Meyer will have tough decisions to make for the clash on Saturday.
