Praise for Richards Bay Home Affairs

With reference to the letter 'Appalled by the disarray and dirt at the Empangeni Department of Home Affairs’ (Bay Watch 16 September 2015), I wish to respond.

The state of the Home Affairs premises in Empangeni, ie the complaints about dirt lying around and poor service, is indeed a problem.

I recommend you to come and visit the Richards Bay Home Affairs, where the staff is always friendly, smiling, polite and willing to assist.

The offices are as clean as my own home, despite the continued influx of people.

So, this must all lead to the manager/s in control.

At Richards Bay, customer service in a healthy environment is obviously more of a priority than it is in Empangeni.
