THE residents of Mtunzini will be getting a new addition to the village’s educational facilities as Ancyra Christian Academy will open its doors in January next year.
An Anchor Church initiative, the Christian school will accommodate Grade R to Grade 4 pupils and then expand by one grade annually.
The objective is a school that proactively instill Biblical values into the lives of the local children.
Lead couple of Anchor Church, André and Deidré Smook, believe that starting the school was a call from God.
The school’s aim is to integrate children as valuable Christian members in all areas of society.
The school will accept children from all religions and walks of life, with the understanding that the Word of God will be taught and will take preference above all else.
The curriculum will be based on Accelerated Christian Education principles which has been implemented successfully in South Africa for more than 30 years.
The team has a wealth of experience in education and will have the backup and full support from Accelerated Education Enterprises.
Appointed Headmistress Angela Kramer is currently busy with a team of enthusiastic stakeholders putting everything together for a smooth start in 2016.
There will be an open day on Saturday from 9am to 1pm at Anchor Church MFC, 5 Williams Road.
