Tracking performances from local athletes
Local athletes tore around the track at the National Athletics Championships in Pretoria
TOP Kingdom Christian College pupils pulled out all the stops when they were selected to represent KZN in the National Christian Schools Athletics Championships which were held in Pretoria from 13 to 14 September.
Lindokuhle Khambule (long jump), Mazwi Ntshangase (1500m), Sphelele Tembe (200m and 400m) and Thando Msweli (1500m) all managed to perform their personal best, proudly flying the Zululand flag.
Sports co-ordinator Siboniso Magwanyana and Principal Solomon Tembe as well as fellow staff members got behind these athletes and made it possible for them to compete at the championships.
