SIX armed men stormed Boxer supermarket at A Rank in Empangeni this morning at around 8am.
Two cash in transit security guards who were busy reloading an ATM with cash canisters were grabbed by the robbers and forced to hand over the money.
According to witnesses, at least one shot was fired. Fortunately no one was injured.
The robbers made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
