School principal duo - Rene Kleiner and Bill Elsworth top the class at the Empangeni High Golf Day

GOLFERS lined up in their numbers under sunny skies for the annual Empangeni High School Golf Day at the Empangeni Country Club on Saturday.
Players followed a 4 Ball Better Ball Stableford format, which resulted in high scores being shot and some great golf being played at the 19th hole.
But it was school principal duo of Rene Kleiner and Bill Elsworth, who taught their fellow colleagues a lesson on golf after winning the day with 50 points.
Participants were treated to a well-kept course which challenged the players’ game.
