THE suspect in the attack on Jean Myburgh appeared in the eShowe Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 24 July.
Kabelo Maphuthane (25) was charged for attempted murder and theft.
His case has been remanded to Monday, 17 August.
Myburgh (72) survived a traummatic experience when she was attacked and strangled by a prospective buyer on 11 June while showing a house to him.
She lost consciousness and woke up lying on the bathroom floor.
She sustained severe injuries to her neck.
The attacker had locked her inside the house and fled with the keys of the house, as well as her vehicle, handbag and cell phone.
