Zululand fire fighting not affected

The ZFPA uses private operators for air support

The grounding of Working on Fire’s helicopters and planes as announced by Civil Aviation will not affect KwaZulu-Natal’s fire fighting operations.

Zululand Fire Protection Association’s Tony Roberts confirmed this morning that they are not affected by the grounding.

The ZFPA uses private operators for air support and only use Working on Fire crews for ground support.
