FIVE chefs cooked up a storm at the Protea Zululand Chef of the Year 2015 competition at the Zululand Trade Fair in Richards Bay on Saturday.
They whipped out delicious meals from surprise ingredients, with only 30 minutes allocated per dish, including starters, main course and desert.
Chefs put their best feet forward to impress the judges, but Protea Hotel Imperial chef Pule Mphuti from Pietermaritzburg eventually took home the title.
