IT was a great start to the morning recently for Grantham Park Primary School’s Grade 1 class when they received a special surprise from Wimpy.
Each pupil received a hamburger and toy for raising the most money on Tekkie Tax day.
Local schools in the area competed to raise the most funds, but Grantham Park came out victorious after raising more than R5 000 for various charities.
Tekkie Tax representative June Morris and Wimpy Empangeni franchise owner Ravi Singh presented the class, as well as their teacher Teressa Springorum, with their reward.
