THE Zululand History Society took a stroll down memory lane, to see what life was like for Indian folk in the early days.

With an open invitation to all, a number of interested community members attended the meeting on Saturday morning in Meerensee.

Local historian, Dr JC van der Walt captivated the audience’s attention, as he provided them with interesting details about the origins of the Indian South Africans.

Photocopied pictures were circulated around the room, to depict what was being discussed by the guest speaker.
