Next Big 5 event in Richards Bay

The riding of the second race in the Bell Big 5 Challenge will be on Sunday 7 June in Richards Bay.

The Richards Bay Elephant is a new venue and track and will offer the speedsters plenty of fast, flat action.

Roland Verwey has done his best to combine the route with some single track sections to keep the off-roaders happy.

Registration takes place between 6am and 8am, with the 50km race getting underway at 8.30am.

The 25km riders will start from 8.45am and the 10km (timed) race from 9am.

The untimed 10km riders will get underway immediately after the timed riders.

All this will be happening at the Zululand Multi Sports Club (GPS start co-ordinates 28°47’55.63″S : 32° 5’43.93″E).
