Beauty queen vies for national title
Nikkita Dhaver will be on the catwalk in the Miss RSA pageant.
LOCAL model Nikkita Dhaver has secured a spot in the Miss RSA pageant taking place in Mpumalanga in October.
Competing in numerous pageants, fashion and bridal shows has earned her several titles.
One of the tasks ahead of the competition is to raise funds for charity beneficiary Kiaros home for traumatised children and adults.
Already an avid supporter of local charities, the tenacious 16-year-old helps the Lungelo Youth Development in Mzingazi.
The Birdswood Secondary pupil is passionate about fashion, modelling and dance and she has incorporated this into her ‘Wheels and Heels’ fund-raiser event this Saturday at the Mondi Sports Grounds.
Dhaver appeals to the public to enter the DJ and modelling competition, car show and shine or sound competition at a cost of R150 each, with a night session to follow at uMoya Lounge in Empangeni.
The spectator fee is R10 and the public can bring along their chairs and gazebos as there will be children’s entertainment food stalls available. The Mondi Sports Bar will also be open.
