Man dies on John Ross Parkway
A motorist ploughed into a pedestrian near the N2 off-ramp last night.
A MAN died after he was struck by a car on the John Ross Parkway just after 6pm last night.
It is believed the pedestrian was crossing the road near the N2 off-ramp. Police on scene were working to establish the identity of the man and at first believed the case to be a hit and run.
The driver later returned to the scene, saying he had been too afraid to stop.
KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Medical Response Services attended the scene but declared the man dead on arrival.
