Thieves raid Empangeni school

Police are investigating a burglary at an Empangeni school.

CRIMINALS raided a classroom of an Empangeni school on Friday night making away with several valuable items.

According to Empangeni SAPS Spokesperson Captain Mbongeni Mdlalose, a wireless mouse, USB, keyboard, wireless cable, internet pace module, computer screen and box were stolen.

‘A staff member left the premises on Thursday at 5pm and returned on Friday at 6am to find the class has been broken in to,’ Captain Mdlalose said.

A case of business burglary has been opened.
