VIVIAN Lohrmann packed the ‘luck of the Irish’ in his tackle box, when going deep sea fishing in Sodwana Bay last weekend.
The local angler went out for his third time with skipper Kobus le Roux on the boat Lomboda.
After sliding a bonita, he hooked a whopping 286.5kg Blue Marlin, which gave Lohrmann a solid 2 hour and 5 minute bout.
Luckily for Vivian, he managed to land the knock-out blow and take home this prize catch.
