Goddard claims golf crown
Look who won the Parkinsons Support Group's golf day held at the Empangeni Country Club.
EMPANGENI’S Brian Goddard put in a fine performance on Saturday for overall victory in the Parkinsons Support Group’s golf day held at the Empangeni Country Club.
Goddard, who plays off an 11 handicap, carded 40 points at the end of his 18-hole round, which included one birdie and a handful of pars.
Support Group coordinator Louise de Villiers hosted the event to raise funds for the group, which is a non-profit organisation.
Eugene Voges picked up the main raffle prize sponsored by Louis de Lira and the Kwikspar team.
Competitors followed an IPS format over 18 holes.
