REPRESENTATIVES of the Association of Nigerian Residents in the City of uMhlathuze paid a visit to the elderly women in the Mevamhlophe area.
Babatunde Ojo-Aromokudu, Edith Chilo and Dr Ogbo Harbor presented the women with a donation of food parcels.
They were previously part of the Zululand Observer charity arm DICE’s (Do I Care Enough?) Christmas Cheer and Winter Warmth initiatives.
‘The gesture is one of our activities to assist the less privileged in our community,’ said Ojo-Aromokudu.
Loud cheers and singing greeted the delivery of the food parcels
