Artists shared the stage during the 'No Xenophobia – We are all Africans' event in Richards Bay.
THE intimacy of poetry and music making was on display during the ‘No xenophobia – We are all Africans’ outdoor session held at Arboretum Park in Richards Bay on Thursday evening.
Artists such as Madlebe, Chaos Buthelezi, Nande Mkombe, Nandi Mhlongo and Note Motion shared the stage and entertained the audience until dawn.
Event organiser Nathi Khuzwayo said the event was to give local artists in visual arts, music and poetry a platform to showcase their talents.
The laid-back show attracted poetry and music fans from all over the City, who witnessed the pure sounds of percussion and the spoken word.
