Shot guard undergoes brain surgery
The wounded man was taken to Albert Luthuli hopsital where he has undergone brain surgery
THE off-duty security guard wounded in a robbery in the Empangeni central business district on Tuesday, has undergone brain surgery.
After being stabilised at the Ngwelezana Hoispital on Tuesday, he was transferred to Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital in Durban on Wednesday afternoon. He underwent two surgeries, the first on Wednesday and a second surgery on Thursday morning, which were successful.
It is believed he is still in a critical condition.
