MELMOTH SAPS showed their worth on Tuesday when they chased down and arrested four suspects involved in house robbery.
On Tuesday at approximately 9pm four armed suspects entered a home in uMlalazi near eShowe and demanded cellphones and car keys before fleeing with the victim’s vehicle.
Swift response from SAPS saw the robbers caught in Melmoth.
The stolen vehicle, as well as four unlicensed firearms, were recovered and the suspects charged with robbery and the possession of unlicensed firearms.
