THE Empangeni and Richards Bay SPCA received a generous donation of R12 100 yesterday.

The funds were raised at the SAJSBA National Jetski competition in Richards Bay on Sunday.

Thanks to De Ponte Transport, JMR Trailer Parts and a number of other sponsors, food and refreshments were sold to raise the money which will be divided between the two SPCA branches.

Richards Bay SPCA will be using the money towards food, and the Empangeni SPCA towards animal sterilisation.
