A LITTLE after 2pm on Sunday afternoon emergency services were summoned to Central Park shopping centre where a man had been stabbed to death.
According to Empangeni SAPS spokesperson, Captain Mbongeni Mdlalose, a 57-year-old man was subsequently arrested and charged with murder.
‘The suspect will appear in court on Tuesday,’ he said.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing, however it appears the man was stabbed several times with a broken bottle.
